Fantastic Flower Light Garden in Japan Made With Over 5 Million LED Bulbs

From now until February 2024, the Ashikaga Flower Park in Japan will be a spectacular display of lights. Over 5 million LED bulbs have been used to create a garden of glowing wisteria, cherry blossoms, and other flora. Visitors can wander the grounds and immerse themselves in a nighttime exhibition that changes theme three times over the duration of its installation.

Undulating Art Installation Made Up of Publicly Sourced Images Takes Over the Las Vegas Sphere

After stunning the world with its spectacular Fourth of July display, the Las Vegas Sphere has opened itself to art installations. The first creative to step up to the plate and utilize the expansive 580,000-square-foot display is Turkish artist Refik Anadol. He took over the venue with an installation titled Machine Hallucinations: Sphere, which features a mesmerizing animation using publicly sourced images and computer algorithms.

Vibrant Flower Installations Bloom From Unexpected Parts of New York City

If you're walking around New York City, keep an eye out for large bouquets. Floral designer Lewis Miller transforms unexpected corners of the metropolis into colorful gardens. These installations are part of an ongoing project called Flower Flash, in which Miller adds vibrant blooms to specific sites for just a couple of hours at a time. Though ephemeral, these pieces are stunning to look at, and completely change the urban setting.

World’s Largest Spherical Building Debuted Spectacular Light Show for the Fourth of July

Two months ahead of its official debut, the world's largest spherical building, the Sphere, put on a spectacular Fourth of July show. Its incredible 580,000-square-foot wraparound LED screen—called the Exosphere—transformed into an array of colorful displays that lit up the night. From the American flag to fireworks to a lifelike Moon, these dazzling animations illuminated the Las Vegas skyline.
